Some people might think it's a little sad that I spend my days off in the kitchen, but I enjoyed experimenting with a few new recipes. I brought some of the fruits of my efforts to Mamma and she said they were really good, so I think we might actually be trying them out at the restaurant soon. I do enjoy when my experiments pay off.
The weather is starting to get cooler. I can't say I really object. I have always loved the fall in New York City. I love watching the leaves change color and I love the cooler weather. I must admit that I am not looking forward to winter, though. There's such a thing as too much cold.
I'm thinking of adopting a dog. Ana, do you want to come with me to the shelter and help me choose?

I really love the holidays. It is a shame they have come to an end, already. Doesn't it seem like it was just Thanksgiving? Of course, we still have plenty of sweet things around here. Mamma did her usual baking over the holidays and I made my fair share, as well. I still have plenty of Struffoli and Panettone left in my apartment and that is after sending some home with my parents and siblings. Maybe this is a sign I made too much?
